LEICESTER’S exciting team of youngsters take to the track for the first time this season at Plymouth tonight (7.15).
Twins Dan and Joe Thompson, who have reached the minimum age of 15 to compete in league racing, line up at reserve for their local club.
And club co-promoter Neil Machin is proud to play a small part in encouraging the stars of the future.
“It’s wonderful for Leicester as a club to have a National League team, these are the future of our sport and I’m looking forward to seeing them in action,” he said.
“Roger Webster is very proud to sponsor the team and I’m sure all the boys will enjoy the experience, but it will be a tough start down at Plymouth tonight.”
The Roger Webster Lion Cubs race their first home meeting this Sunday when they face Mildenhall in Knockout Cup action (4pm).
